With so many different brands of hemorrhoid cream, available it can be difficult to decide which one is the best for you. Aisles are filled with everything from Preparation H to Anusol, all promising to give you the hemorrhoid relief you need. To top that off, each one of those brands has an endless number of strengths available, not to mention the prescription strength hemorrhoid creams you can get from your doctor. All of the choices make it very confusing, but when it comes down to it, most of the creams offer very similar treatments. Finding the right hemorrhoid cream for you boils down to following a few simple steps.

The first thing you need to do is make sure that a hemorrhoid cream is the best option for you. Creams are best used on external hemorrhoids, which are hemorrhoids at, or near, the opening of the anal cavity. If you are suffering from internal hemorrhoids, you may be best suited by using a hemorrhoid suppository.

Once you know for sure that a hemorrhoid cream is what you need, you can go about finding the one that is right for you. As we said above, most over-the-counter brands of hemorrhoid cream offer the same type of hemorrhoid relief. The brand you purchase is less important than the strength of the cream. If this is the first time you have treated hemorrhoids with an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream, it is best to start out with the lowest strength cream. While it is natural to want to jump to the highest strength available, it is wise to start at a lower strength. There is no guarantee that a store bought hemorrhoid cream will bring you hemorrhoid relief, and one that is too strong could cause irritation. Always begin with the lowest strength treatment, and increase the strength if you find the current one is not having the desired effect.

Picking the best hemorrhoid cream for you does not have to be a confusing decision. If you are going to be buying a hemorrhoid cream from the store, it does not matter if you go with Preparation H or Anusol, take the approach above, and you will find the right cream for you. Always remember that hemorrhoid creams are meant for short-term use only, if your symptoms persist, you should consult with your doctor.

Surgery is serious, business and hemorrhoid surgery is no less serious than any other form. Anytime you go under the knife there are certain risks that you take, and any doctor that tells you a surgery is 100% safe is lying to you. You need to be aware of the risks involved in any surgery prior to deciding to have the procedure done.

The good news for hemorrhoid sufferers is that a hemorrhoidectomy is rarely needed. There are a countless number of hemorrhoid treatments available to you prior to having to choose a hemorrhoidectomy. Some of the options available to you include simple changes to your eating habits, over-the-counter creams, and non-surgical procedures, such as tying off the hemorrhoids with a rubber band or using heat, lasers, or electrical stimulation to create scar tissue around the area of the hemorrhoid. Normally, you will go through all of these courses of treatment prior to having hemorrhoid surgery.

Unfortunately, there are times when surgery will be required. If you have very large internal hemorrhoids, your doctor will likely perform hemorrhoid surgery as a final course of action. Additional reasons your doctor may recommend a hemorrhoidectomy include internal hemorrhoids that continue to cause symptoms after non-surgical treatment, large external hemorrhoids that cause extreme discomfort, and when other forms of treatment have failed.

Luckily, most patients respond well to home hemorrhoid treatments or the other non-surgical options available. Hemorrhoid surgery should only be used when everything else has failed, or if your hemorrhoids are causing an emergency. Unless explicitly recommended by a doctor, you should never opt for a hemorrhoidectomy for your first instance of hemorrhoids. In nearly all cases, home remedies can treat hemorrhoid symptoms. In the rare cases when an at home hemorrhoid treatment fails to work; the non-surgical options will usually rid you of the symptoms associated with hemorrhoids. Only after you have attempted each of the less invasive hemorrhoid treatments will a doctor recommend hemorrhoid surgery. Even if you do opt for hemorrhoid surgery, there is no guarantee the procedure will be a long-term solution. Nearly 5% of patients have a reoccurrence of hemorrhoids after a hemorrhoidectomy.

In short, there is no simple answer as to whether hemorrhoid surgery is worth it. If you have exhausted all other options, then you may want to attempt the surgical procedure. Make sure that you understand the risks involved with the surgery, and go in knowing that your stubborn hemorrhoids could still return.

A hemorrhoidectomy is a surgical procedure to remove hemorrhoids. The surgery is rather involved and generally includes a recovery period from 2-3 weeks. After surgery, many patients experience a considerable amount of discomfort and rely on painkillers to numb the pain. Now that you know how long you will be out, let us talk about what actually takes place during the surgery.

A hemorrhoidectomy can be done with a number of different tools. Surgeons can use a scalpel, electricity, or a laser. The basics of each type of hemorrhoidectomy is the same regardless of the which tool you will have the surgery performed with. The surgeon will make an incision in the tissue surrounding the hemorrhoid. The vein that is swollen inside of the hemorrhoid is then tied off to stop any bleeding. Once the bleeding has subsided, the hemorrhoid is removed. The incision may be sewn shut, or left open, and covered with medicated gauze.

Once the hemorrhoidectomy has been completed, you will be required to stay at the hospital until the anesthesia you were given has worn off. You will also need to stay until you have urinated at least once, as the swelling caused by the hemorrhoidectomy may not allow you to pass urine for a short time.

Once you get home, you can expect the pain from the surgery to last for a week or two. Your doctor will recommend ways to minimize your discomfort, but there is no way to avoid all of the discomfort.

So should you have a hemorrhoidectomy? Only you can answer that question, but 5% of all hemorrhoidectomy patients have hemorrhoids return later in the future. If you have tried all other forms of treatment available and they have failed to produce results then a hemorrhoidectomy may be the way you need to lean. However, it should only be used as a last resort. Many over-the-counter, non-surgical and home hemorrhoid treatments have proven to be effective at treating hemorrhoids. Only after less invasive treatments have been ruled out should you opt for surgery. Always consult with your doctor to find out the treatments available to you.

What is a hemorrhoid treatment? The first thing you need to do to treat your hemorrhoids is to develop healthy bowel habits. Eat fiber, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, get exercise, and drink plenty of water. Use the bathroom when you feel the urge and do not put it off. Do not strain while sitting on the toilet. If you need a pain reliever avoid aspirin and NSAIDS as they increase bleeding.

Be gentle with your hemorrhoids so that you do not worsen them. Blot the anus rather than rubbing and wiping it. Moisten white toilet paper with water or a special cleansing agent. You may want to use a product like Tucks pads or baby wipes for gentle cleaning. Toilet paper should be white, and fragrance free. Soaps and cleansing products need to be fragrance a dye free for your best health.

These methods are for relieving the pain and itching of hemorrhoids: Apply ice to the painful area several times a day for ten minutes at a time, with a follow up of a warm compress for another ten to twenty minutes. Moist, warm heat several times a day, or a warm sitz bath will provide good relief, especially after a bowel movement. Be careful not to use water hot enough to burn you.

There are other measures that will provide comfort for extremely bad hemorrhoids. Bed rest is one of them. Sleeping with hips slightly elevated is another. Sleep on your side if you are pregnant. With severe hemorrhoids try not to sit or stand for a long time, or sit on a pillow. Make sure it is not a donut pillow because it cuts off the circulation. Wearing white cotton underwear will make your hemorrhoids worse because cotton prevents moisture from accumulating and ultimately irritates the hemorrhoids. Loose clothing allows free movement and reduces pressure as well. Be sure to every thing you can to maintain comfort and to reduce irritation.

Knowing how to get rid of hemorrhoids can be confusing because there are so many products out there, each of which addresses a different aspect of hemorrhoids all together. The good news is, there are many safe and natural remedies for external hemorrhoid treatment that you can easily do at home without having to fork out too much money or undergo surgery for.

The most important step is to acknowledge why and how you contracted hemorrhoids in the first place. The main cause of hemorrhoids due to swollen blood vessels. Are you constantly constipated? Does your diet lack fiber? Are you under constant stress? All of these are potential causes of hemorrhoids. Try changing up your diet first. Eat more fruits and vegetables to increase your fiber intake (be sure to check out those FiberOne bars) Why fiber? Because it helps promote smoother bowl movements. The smoother your stool, the less irritating it is on your hemorrhoids when passing through. Limit your carbohydrate intake because excessive carbs will put even more strain on your hemorrhoid, so be sure to mix it up with protein and veggies. Drink plenty of water to complement your fiber intake. Consume more citrus, such as oranges, which are high in bioflavonoids and helps build stronger blood vessels. Avoid eating excessive cheese because it contains lactic acid which worsens the condition. If you feel it is too difficult to follow these dietary guidelines, be sure to check out fiber supplements available over the counter.

Get in the habit of developing an exercise routine. It doesn’t need to be something that will disrupt your regular schedule, but make sure you’re consistent. Listen to your body. Eat well, but not to the point where you’re bloated from food and about to fall asleep. Instead of eating large portions three times a day, try eating smaller portions for those three meals and throwing in some snacks and fruits in between. You probably might have heard that from somewhere before, but it works. By doing this, your body’s metabolism is speeding up and allowing you to digest your foods more quickly and efficiently- thus causing less strain on the blood vessels in your rectum. This will not only relieve your hemorrhoid, but it will also lead you to a healthier lifestyle.

Sitz baths are also excellent for external use in relieving the itch. You can also use over the counter hemorrhoid creams to relieve swelling or get rid of them all together.

Even though surgical methods or injections can remove hemorrhoids, you run certain risks, not to mention it could be highly expensive. Talk to your doctor about your hemorrhoids before making any decisions, even if surgery is inevitable. The methods mentioned above are effective forms of external hemorrhoids treatment and will work effectively for reducing the swelling of hemorrhoids, on top of eliminating them naturally as long as the problem isn’t severe.

Be sure to check out our H Miracle review. This book outlines everything you need to know about how to get rid of your hemorrhoids.

What are hemorrhoid symptoms? Symptoms of hemorrhoids vary, depending on the type of hemorrhoids and whether they are in the upper or lower anal canal. In the upper canal, they are in tissues like the intestinal surfaces and only feel pressure, not pain. In the lower canal they are on skin like tissue and can be painful and itchy. In an advanced stage hemorrhoids bleed. That is a commonly recognized symptom, but is not the only one.

Blood from a hemorrhoid usually occurs in an advanced stage, when the internal hemorrhoid has become irritated by straining or by passing a hardened stool. A bleeding hemorrhoid produces small quantities of bright red blood either in the toilet bowl or on the toilet tissue when the patient wipes. There may possibly be blood on the stool surfaces as well. Bleeding is just one commonly recognized symptom.

Another symptom of a hemorrhoid is a bulge or protrusion through the anus. This protruding or prolapsed hemorrhoid often becomes irritated. These are called external hemorrhoids. Sometimes a prolapsed hemorrhoid has a pool of blood within it that clots. That characteristic is known as a thrombus. This can be associated with severe pain, burning, itching, and swelling. It can also become cut off or strangulated.

The itching associated with internal hemorrhoids is caused by seeping mucus that irritates the anal skin and causes itching. Large external hemorrhoids that bulge out of the anus also may secrete mucus and irritate the skin. A person with hemorrhoids may feel the discomfort of needing to have a bowel movement, even right after having one, because of the hemorrhoid bulging into the anal canal. Generally speaking a large hemorrhoid with cause more discomfort than a small one. External hemorrhoids can become swollen and get squeezed by the muscles of the anal sphincter. It is a significant symptom when severe pain occurs. This can be the sign of a strangulated hemorrhoid, and may mean that emergency treatment is needed.

How to treat hemorrhoids: First off, do not ignore your hemorrhoids or be embarrassed by them. If you are having pain, itching, pressure or bleeding you need to discuss this condition with your doctor. It should not be kept secret, as these symptoms can point to other conditions in addition to hemorrhoids. If it is a hemorrhoid, you are risking an infection, but if it is not a hemorrhoid it could be a serious condition, like a cancer.

Keep the area around the hemorrhoid dry and clean as far as you can. Keep a log, diary or chart to determine what irritates your hemorrhoids. You may discover triggers such as irritating foods, or dehydration. Getting constipated may cause a great deal of discomfort and can cause a flare up of your hemorrhoids. If you know what your setting events are, then you are halfway to avoiding them. Be sure to drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables that have lots of fiber.

It cannot be said often enough, see your doctor. Hemorrhoids that receive early treatment also get early relief from the discomforts of external or thrombosed hemorrhoids. Until you see your doctor there are many self care remedies and natural hemorrhoid treatments you can access. Sit in a warm bath for fifteen minutes at a time, or place an ice pack wrapped in towels on the rectal area for about ten minutes at a time. There are medicated suppositories that provide symptom relief, and herbs that strengthen the veins and promote good smooth muscle contractions when taken orally or used as a compress or to wash with. Medicated pads or unscented baby wipes are also good to use for cleaning and relieving the pain and itching. Thrombosed hemorrhoids are painful, but can be dealt with through natural remedies. Do not delay to seek relief. Sometimes you may have to consider surgery, but the alternative of constant pain and irritation is not acceptable.

What causes hemorrhoids? If we want to simplify the cause of hemorrhoids, we will say that hemorrhoids are caused by pressure that occurs on the veins of both the pelvis and the rectum. The source of the pressure delineates the cause of various hemorrhoids.

Poor bathroom habits can put a lot of pressure on the rectal system. Sitting in an uncomfortable manner on the toilet or for a prolonged time causes gravity to put pressure on the anus. Trying to pass a hard stool, dealing with constipation, causes tremendous pressure. Common or frequent diarrhea will put pressure on those systems as well. Sit comfortably on the toilet with good support and eat well so stools will not be too hard or too soft, if you want to avoid hemorrhoids.

Genetic factors will predispose a person to hemorrhoids. If your parents or grandparents had a genetic weakness in this area, you may inherit the tendency to having hemorrhoids. Take steps to avoid aggravating this tendency.

Carrying excess weight will put pressure on the anal system. That excess weight can be caused by obesity, so for that reason as well as bowel health, it is important to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Of course, pregnancy also causes excess weight, and pregnant women often develop hemorrhoids.

Job factors can be another cause of hemorrhoids. A person who sits for a long time puts extra pressure on the pelvic floor. If someone has to stand a lot, gravity and their own weight pushes down causing a tendency to hemorrhoids. So does having to lift heavy objects all day at a job. Avoiding hemorrhoids in the work place may mean changing physical position frequently. Sit for awhile, and then stand for awhile. It also may mean using equipment for heavy lifts or finding someone to help lift the heavy items.

Some causes of hemorrhoids are in our control, like weight and position, but some are not, like genetics. It is a good idea to avoid the causes that we can.

H Miracle is a natural hemorrhoid treatment that claims to be able to rid you of hemorrhoids for good. The website makes an awful lot of claims for this supposed hemorrhoid miracle, but does it live up to them? When I first heard about H Miracle, I was suffering from a mild case of hemorrhoids, and I found many H Miracle reviews that claimed the product could cure any case of hemorrhoids, no matter how severe. Since using H Miracle myself I have talked to other hemorrhoid suffers who were in much worse shape than me, and while most said that it did get rid of their hemorrhoids, there were a few people with very severe cases where surgery was needed. However, overall H Miracle worked for the vast majority of people I have talked to, and more importantly, it worked for me.

The difference between Hemorrhoid Miracle and many of the ointments on the market are that ointments only provide relief for the symptoms of hemorrhoids. Yes, they will get rid of the problem, but you will likely suffer from hemorrhoids again at some point in your life. H miracle gets to the root of the problem. The 50-page guide lays out a systematic strategy that allows you ensure you never suffer from hemorrhoids again.

H Miracle gives you the suggestions you need to change your diet, perform exercises, and avoid doing things that are likely to cause you to suffer from hemorrhoids in the future. The best part about it is that you can get all of the natural ingredients you need for the remedies they provide at your local grocer and for a fraction of the cost that a tube of the leading ointments would cost. My only complaint about H Miracle is that the sales page promises to rid you of hemorrhoids in 48 hours, and while that was not my experience, I was hemorrhoid free within the week.

H Miracle works, period. After months of suffering from continuous bouts of hemorrhoids, I have been hemorrhoid free since I began implementing the suggestions given in H Miracle. If you are looking for a way to rid yourself of hemorrhoids permanently, try H Miracle.

Hemorrhoids are embarrassing and can be painful. Over the course of your life it is estimated that all of us have a 50% chance of suffering from hemorrhoids at some point. Once you have dealt with hemorrhoids you will quickly learn why people are so desperate to find a hemorrhoid treatment that gets rid of them. While generally not dangerous, hemorrhoids could be a sign of a more significant problem. If you develop the symptoms associated with hemorrhoids, you should visit your doctor to make sure that you are not suffering from something more severe than hemorrhoids. Once you have a clean bill of health, you can usually treat the problem at home with a hemorrhoid cream such as Venapro.

When searching for a hemorrhoid treatment I scoured the internet looking for a solution for the pain and itching that I was suffering from. I came across many Venapro reviews in my search. While all of the reviews were positive, I had my doubts whether Venapro hemorrhoid cream really worked. After using Venapro, I realized what all the hype was about. It quickly took away the pain and itching I had been suffering from, and then slowly helped shrink the inflamed area until my hemorrhoids were no longer an issue.
The best part about Venapro is that it is made from all natural products. Venapro hemorrhoid cream was created by a team of researchers that sought out the perfect combination of minerals and vitamins to create a hemorrhoid treatment that gets rid of your hemorrhoids. The use of all natural ingredients helps minimize the side effects of Venapro. With most over the counter hemorrhoid treatments, you have to worry about the ointment causing irritation and itching, precisely the symptoms you are trying to get rid of. Venapro is able to avoid those side effects because of the natural ingredients it uses.

If you are looking for a permanent cure for your hemorrhoids, you can consider this the last Venapro review you need to read. All of the qualities you need in a hemorrhoid cream are found in Venapro. Give it a try today, and start feeling better tomorrow.
